Made for Germany:
An important detail
The decision has been made: The old TV has had its day, and now it's time for a new set. So far, so good, but what is particularly important when buying a new TV? It should be easy to connect and operate, provide a good picture and, last but not least, offer a lot of additional content such as live sports, films and series. A wide variety of offers can be found on the internet, and a favourable price naturally looks tempting at first glance. However, the market for which the product is intended can also be important. If you buy a Samsung TV that is intended for the German market, you can benefit from attractive additional services that devices for other European markets do not necessarily have. For Samsung, this means: Made for Germany.
Whether the TV is "Made for Germany" and therefore comes with the additional services mentioned can be seen from the combination of numbers on the back of the set or under "Settings" in the Smart Hub. The model code can be easily checked on the respective product page at samsung.de, but the dealer will also be happy to help. As a general rule, the code should start with GQ or GU. National promotions such as the SuperDeals, for example, only apply to products with a German model code.
