The CTEK mxs 10ec device is the workshop version of the mxs 10. The electronics and software are identical. The difference lies in its use. The workshop version has a thick and robust rubber protection (bumper) for the housing. The charging cable is extremely robust and 4 metres long. The mains cable is also of the highest quality. This version is intended for daily and robust use in a workshop.
The standard version is also ideal for all applications. If you take a bit of time and look after the device and the cable length doesn't matter, this device with the price advantage is the right one.
Basically, it has to be said that CTEK's charging technology has been one of the best for many years. Some batteries that were thought to be dead have been brought back to life and have continued to work for a long time. My oldest device has been in use for almost 15 years without any problems and is still in use.

It is best to use the comparison function on the respective product page: https://www.digitec.ch/de...
