Why do I keep seeing adverts when I switch off my Kindle? That's not what it says in the description. WTF, I'm getting annoyed.

Nowhere in the description does it say that it is a discounted offer WITH advertising. Even the answer to the one question below does NOT say advertising! That is not okay!

"The ads you see on your Kindle Paperwhite are part of Amazon's "Special Offers" programme. If you see adverts on the lock screen or when you switch off the device, this means that you have purchased a version of the device that contains these special offers at a lower price.
If you want to remove these adverts, you can do so by paying a one-off fee to Amazon. You can go to your Amazon account, manage your Kindle devices and find an option to unsubscribe from Special Offers. After paying the fee, the ads will be removed from your Kindle Paperwhite."
