Question about Siemens WT47X940EU Avantgarde
Today our replacement appliance was delivered after the first one was taken back due to a defective closing mechanism of the "porthole". With the now second appliance, we noticed the following characteristics that we cannot explain: is it usual for the dryer to make an additional louder noise after about 5 minutes of quiet operation, which continues even when the roller is not turning and only stops about 3 minutes before the end? Is it also true that the condensation tray fills up a little with water even when the dryer is connected via the external hose? We are not in a position to judge, as our old dryer has always been emptied via the condensation tray up to now. Thank you very much for your feedback.

I can also observe this noise with our machine. In addition, there is a loud clacking noise in between, which sounds like when a door latch is pressed down and then suddenly released!
Does anyone know this additional noise?
We also have problems with the water in the when, I have to check the angle of inclination of the machine.

Thank you for your answer. In the meantime, we were able to find out that the tub fills up a little with water despite the hose connection because it gets there through the cleaning process of the machine (at least with our model). The noises would also be "normal".
I don't have this noise, but the condensation tray also fills up for me, even though it is connected with an external hose.
