This device does not work for me. When I insert a CD, it makes a strange noise and the connection is interrupted, so a sound appears on the PC that the CD has been recognised and shortly afterwards whether it has been removed again and it is no longer displayed on the PC.

This device works perfectly for me, even though my laptop is older and I no longer have a free USB port. I have connected the drive to an external hub (with power supply) and everything works as it should.
