Question about PHS-memory RAM passend für Synology DiskStation DS1522+
They write that this 32GB memory is 100% compatible for Synology DiskStation DS1522+ and it says 1 unit. According to Synology, the maximum RAM for the DS1522+ is 32GB in two times 16GB units. How should I understand this Ram? Is it possible to install 2x 32GB Ram? Does the 32GB come in 2*16GB and is the unit count wrong with 1 unit? Thanks for the clarification.
According to Synology, the optimal memory configuration is 2x 16GB, so a total capacity of 32GB RAM. PHS, however, specifies this as follows:
Device Series DS1500 Series
Device name DiskStation DS1522+
Factory memory 8GB (1x8GB)
Maximum RAM* 64GB / 32GB
We adopt the manufacturer's information from PHS, the RAM configuration is recognised this way, but it is not recommended by Synology.
