There is no mention of a power supply unit in the scope of delivery, but I read about one here in the questions.
Where is this device supposed to get the power supply for its own operation? Via the network or directly from a power socket?
What I want: 3 switches in a row (there is no other way) and only connect the first one to the wall socket, the other two to PoE. All should have 8 ports. Which switches should I use? I have no experience with PoE. Thank you very much for a helpful answer! :)

Answer

The unit comes with a power adapter to ensure the power supply for the unit itself and then also for the other devices that you can connect to this unit via PoE using the existing LAN sockets.
