Then I'll make a statement in the form of a question. Why is there no mention here of the dangers of buying such a system? So, now to the statement: The Snapdragon X Elite 1st Gen is a processor that uses the ARM architecture. In other words, these PCs will run the ARM version of Windows 11. There is no doubt that this processor has a lot of power and is also better than an Intel processor in terms of power consumption, but many things in ARM Windows simply do not run or have not yet been optimised. At least that's what I know from my last ARM attempt with Windows. If you can afford to do without a function in the worst case, or in the worst case simply buy the next PC, no problem snaps. However, if you can only spend the money once and also have a little more specialised requirements, e.g. special drivers for a software product, I would recommend buying a standard x86 or nowadays rather x64 processor (from Intel or AMD).

You're right, the Snapdragon X Elite 1st Gen and other ARM processors offer great performance and save power, but the compatibility with software and drivers is not yet as comprehensive as with Intel or AMD processors. If you have special requirements, such as specific drivers for software, a system with an x86/x64 processor would be safer. These platforms have broader support for different applications and devices. However, Microsoft and other software manufacturers are constantly working to improve ARM Windows. For users who value mobility and long battery life, an ARM device can still be attractive.

However, it would not necessarily make sense to warn against ARM-based systems in principle. The target group for this device could already benefit from native support for Office 365 as well as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, with other Adobe products in the works. I will gladly have your tip checked internally. Thank you for your comment.
