The thing weighs 1.2 kg. Does it hold well on the MB when it stands vertically?
Yes, this is tuned. As long as the case is not exposed to permanent vibrations, there will hardly be any problems. I have 2x Noctua NH-U12DO A3 coolers weighing 1.65kg each on a mainboard. It has been working perfectly for months.
