the Surface Pro 7 has a USB-C and a USB-A port. Can I connect a docking station (third-party product Dell D3100) to the USB-A port and then run two external monitors?

Helpful answer

I'm running a Dell D6000 docking station on the Surface Pro 7, and it works via both the USB-A and USB-C ports. So the D3100 should also work.
