Question about Sony PS-LX310BT incl. SRS-XB12
The start button does not react/can not be pressed, the up/down button works. What is the problem?

I had the same problem, I connected the drive belt to the wrong wheel. If you stand in front of the record player, there is a golden wheel at the back left, that is the right one. After that everything worked for me
I can confirm the above answer. I had also put the drive belt on the wrong "wheel" at first. Its somewhat misleading.
