Question about Oster Easter type 97-44
The numerous different specifications on the length of the cutting edge are very misleading. The specifications vary between 0.10mm , 0.25mm and 1.00 mm. What is the minimum cutting length? 2. which cutting lengths are possible with the supplied package? 3. what cutting lengths are possible with additional attachments? 4. are the cutting lengths continuously adjustable?

extremely good device that is used by professionals. i have had the oster professional for many years. never had any problems. as far as i know, the smallest shaving head is 0.2mm. the steps can only be changed by different shaving heads. so it is not infinitely variable. i recommend always changing the shaving head while the machine is running. the machine will thank you for it. i bought 4 different shaving heads and they all still cut perfectly. cleaning and oiling after use is a prerequisite. you can find the different lengths in the shop.
Salut. There is no infinitely variable regulation, only fixed shaving head sizes. To change it, you have to unscrew and screw it on. Shaving head 0000 - 0.25 mm is supplied.
I bought a 6.3 mm shaving head and only use this.
According to the manufacturer, the following shaving heads are available:
0.2 / 0.25 / 0.5 / 1.2 / 2.4 / 3.2 / 4 / 6.3 / 9.5 / 12.7 / 3.2 Skiptooth / 3.2 Texturing / 0.5 Flattop T
Only the 0000 attachment (0.25mm) is supplied. Each additional length is a separate attachment. Everything is of very high quality and robust.

I have the blade attachments 0000, which is given as 0.25mm, and 2.75, which is 9.5mm.
I'm pretty sure the specs are correct, but I haven't measured them.
In my case they are two complete full metal knife blocks which are easy to replace.
After many years they still cut perfectly, this is by far the best clipper I have ever had, I would never buy anything else.
