The Intel RST does not work, it is not possible to install Windows 10 on the M.2 Raid: Driver source: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z690-UD-rev-1x/support#support-dl-driver-sataraidahci Proceeded according to manual: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z690-UD-rev-1x/support#support-manual In the BIOS a Raid0 can be built with the M.2, but WIndows does not recognise a Raid. The "Intel SATA Preinstall driver (For AHCI / RAID Mode) (Note) Windows setup to read from USB thumb drive.", which according to the instructions should be loaded during setup, does not recognise a raid. If you switch to AHCI mode in order to at least install on an M.2 disc, it does not work either, the message "Access error" always appears. This means that the MB cannot be used.

It should actually be possible. The board can support RAID level
0/1/5/10 (Z690)

Have you tried setting it up with this

first install the Intel Driver Update Wizard to make sure the drivers are up to date.

However, it would certainly make more sense to install all the hard drives beforehand and to add the correct drivers to your Windows installation boot stick so that your raid system is already recognised during installation. However, there are different driver versions which depend on the processor generation.
