Question about LaCie d2 Professional
The hard drive has 2 Thunderbolt ports, can you also loop a Lacie Rugged Thunderbolt through there or only d2 hard drives?

The hard disk only has a USB-C connection. There is nothing about looping through!

I can't answer the question. I use it purely as a backup medium and it is connected to the NAS via USB as a single extension.

Attention: The "black" Pro line of Lacie d2 and 2Big Raid do NOT have a Thunderbolt 3 connector but USB-C. Daisy chaining is therefore not possible
