The floor of the corridor connecting the rooms is elevated (around 2cm). My current robot (Roborock S2) cannot climb it. Would this be able to? If not, how would it work with vacuum/moping? Would it be able to vacuum and mop a room, then I would carry it to base (or another room)?

The Dreame X40 Ultra Complete robot vacuum has an obstacle crossing height of 22mm (or approximately 2.2cm).

Given that your corridor has an elevation of around 2cm, the X40 Ultra should be able to navigate this height without issues, as it is well within its obstacle crossing capability.

If, however, the robot were unable to cross the elevation for any reason, here’s how you could manage the cleaning:

- Vacuuming and Mopping: You can manually move the robot to the other side of the elevation to ensure it can clean each room thoroughly.
- Base Station: If the robot cannot return to its base station due to the elevation, you can manually carry it back to the base station or another room where it can resume its charging and maintenance functions.

In general, the X40 Ultra is designed to handle various floor types and minor obstacles, making it a versatile option for your cleaning needs.
