Question about Garmin fenix 3 HR
The fenix 3 measures the pulse at the wrist, right? Not sure if there are different versions and not all of them can do this.
WHR stands for Wrist Heart Rate... so all Fenix 3 with a WHR designation measure the heart rate at the wrist.
(I find WHR great for everyday use, but for performance training I still need the chest strap because it is more accurate and has the additional Running Dynamics values).
See the answer above. I have the WHR (sometimes also referred to as HR). For training, I bought the triathlon chest strap. I can use it for cycling, other land sports and also water (swimming etc.).
