Question about Segway-Ninebot KickScooter ES1
The ES1 is permitted in road traffic or on the cycle path because it can be used at speeds of up to 20 km/h. Is this also the case with the additional battery? Since it can then go up to 25km/h... Thank you

Unfortunately, no. The law clearly states up to 20km/h. And with the rear light and bell mounted, of course. Otherwise, the ES2 would also be legal, as you can reduce the speed from 25 to 20 km/h using software...but whether this is really controlled by the police is a moot point, at least as long as nothing happens. I'll stick with the ES1 anyway, better safe than sorry...
