Denver WCT-8026W
The comments on this are somewhat contradictory: one says that the camera is suitable for night use, another says that it is not. So what is true?
In any case, it works very well at night...
Mine is standing 1.5 metres from the cat door. On the night shots you can easily distinguish the individual cats from each other (tiger stripes are clearly recognisable). I think it also depends on the distance. For night shots, an LED emits light that is not visible to us, which is then recorded. You can imagine that it quickly deteriorates with increasing distance. But I've never tested it at a greater distance.
I've had more expensive cameras, for example Minox. They were no better than the Denver WCT-8026W. In this respect, it is certainly suitable for night shots.
