Question about be quiet! SilentWings 3 PWM High-Speed
The "be quiet! SilentWings 3 PWM" has "Automatic voltage adjustment". What does this mean for the "be quiet! SilentWings 3 PWM High-Speed", which does not support this. PWM is supposed to control this...?
As far as I know, PWM fans always have the same voltage, the PWM signal switches the fan on/off all the time and thus the speed is maintained. Non-PWM fans do this via the voltage and are therefore only adjustable in steps, whereas PWM is more or less stepless.
