The armrests move asymmetrically: the right one is fixed, but the left one has about 1 cm of lateral play. Manufacturing defect?
The armrests on my chair are fully adjustable, both in height and forwards and backwards, right or left. It may take a bit of "force" to move them the first time. This is not a fault.
However, if one of the armrests is completely blocked and does not move, it must be a defect, yes.
