Question about HTC Vive

I have an important question about the price. I wanted to order directly from HTC. There the Vive costs 899 € plus 60 to 70 € shipping. But: these 899 euronen already include the VAT for Euro countries, which is about 23%!!!! I.e. if I order directly as a Swiss, I pay 23% VAT instead of 8% and since they apparently don't list in the enclosed invoice that the price of 899.-- € includes 23% VAT for EU countries, there is a risk that our customs will also demand another 8% CH VAT on these 899€!!!!

So my question: are you negotiating with HTC to offer the Vive at a price that is appropriate for Switzerland or are you, as a larger retailer, also being taken for a ride?

As we work with daily prices, the price of an offer can change at any time. However, we do not adjust the price of an order for HTC Vive glasses upwards. :)

Is there any chance that the Vive will actually go on sale again for 799? Pre-ordering for the current price of 989.-- is too steep for me. :-(

Now the price has been adjusted. However, my order for 799.- is still displayed as such. Does my order for 799.- remain in place?
