Micro Merlin X4
20 km/h, 25 km, 500 W
Somehow that can't be, according to astra an e-scooter is not allowed to exceed 20kmh in any stage so this scooter is not approved the new x4 on the micro side with additional handbrake is only supposed to go 20kmh and is also road legal so this one is pretty sure not approved, well unfortunately I ordered it this morning when it arrives and the packaging says 25kmh it just goes back unpacked :-( Too bad. Or does anyone have a written document or something that confirms the approval?
The Emicro Merlin is definitely not approved for road use in Switzerland. However, no one notices that in everyday life. I've been riding around with Micro e-scooters since 2015. The police have never been interested in the vehicle. Just by looking at the Emicro Merlin, you can't tell whether it is registered for the road or not. Accordingly, it will probably not cause any trouble.
There is no approval for so-called light motorbikes (e.g. e-scooters or ebikes) similar to the type approval for cars. Accordingly, you will not get anything in writing anywhere. However, the new Merlin X4 with handbrake is certainly not approved, because a reflector is missing at the rear and the motor brake at the front does not work when the battery is full.
