So I understand that this is the joint for the Ergotron HX arm with payload of 19kg for the G9 monitors?
Yes, that is correct!
Weight + Curved make the adapter necessary, as the monitor would otherwise tilt minimally downwards with the standard adapter supplied.
I also use it on my G9 and am totally satisfied. :)
