Question about ASUS Bw-16d1h-U Pro
So, after a logically unsuccessful Goggle search, here is the question: The description says this drive plays DVDs and BDs. BUT IT DOES NOT! My question now, how can I play films with this device? Thank you very much!
It worked for me without any problems. You have to connect it to a computer with a screen before you can enjoy a film on it😉.
One more addition; version 14 of PowerDVD can also be installed from the enclosed DVD.

That's exactly why I bought this drive, and it works really well.
As soon as the Blu-Ray disc is inserted, the playback software starts automatically and the film can be started.

and the software is installed. I have been using Cyberlink PowerDVD for many years but
this should also work with other products, e.g. Real Player.
Or you can go directly to the playback software and start the disc recognised by the drive manually.
