Good day
I have been on Curved screens for about a year. I have had consistently good experiences with these screens.
In shop:
Dell UltraSharp U3818DW (38", 3840 x 1600 Pixels)
At home (I pulled on the PC):
Samsung LC34J791 (34", 3440 x 1440 Pixels)
With a curved screen, you don't have to worry about having two screens. One is completely sufficient. However, you should make sure that you have a screen diagonal of at least 32 inches - better 34. A Displayport cable was included with both screens.
What is also very important is the radius of curvature! This should be at least 1800R - I have found that the smaller the number, the better it is to work with these large screens. That's why I prefer the Samsung at home to the work device in the shop.
What should also be considered:
- Space -> the screen needs more space in the depth.
- Working -> select the appropriate window, hold down the Windows key and press the arrow keys -> this allows you to work with two or more programmes side by side at the same time.
PS: I paid about CHF 650 for the Samsung (with about 15% discount).
Greetings from my home office
