Scooter won't open, is there a trick? It seems that the mechanism does not lock when opening...
I had the same problem. After some careful jerking and scraping off too much black paint, the "part" could be opened. Since then, the folding mechanism works perfectly, even if it is not exactly "child's play".
"child's play". But it shouldn't be, because in my opinion the scooter is neither suitable for children nor for teenagers. You underestimate the speed on this rather small vehicle and there is a danger, even for me as an "adult", of getting a bit overconfident. I don't want to imagine an accident at almost 27 km/h!
There seems to be a manufacturing defect in the black cylindrical plastic component that limits the opening. You can work on it mechanically with a file or carefully drill it out from the inside until the scooter can be opened (with a little swing).
However, since this is a warranty case (poor workmanship), digitec customer service should certainly be helpful.
