Reolink Argus PT 2K is a very good camera: zoom, tilting, good image quality, events recording on a memory card - no subscription is needed. The problem I have is that the battery powered by Reolink Solar panel 2 (USB-C) drains very quickly. So, every weekend I have to unmount the camera to charge the batteries... which are lasting for another week. The description mentions ëlectrical connection "for power option. Can I use a common 5V USB-C charger (with long enough cable for outdoor connection? Or Reolink has some special outdoor wired connection (link Ring has for e.g.)?

I have been using a normal 5V USB connection for 3 years, but I still have the old versions of the camera (5 in total), but I think the principle is exactly the same. I have no problems with the battery/solar panels. I've also adjusted the sensitivity a bit, otherwise it runs 24 hours a day in all weathers and then the battery is empty within a week.
