Question regarding spring Hello together Because of my height (1.74m) I ordered the smaller gas spring. Is it correct that when I receive the chair, which comes in parts, and I already have the new spring, that the assembly will be exactly the same as with the larger original spring? I have read that if the original spring is already installed, the rebuilding requires some skill, a rubber hammer etc. All this is omitted with the new spring. All this is not necessary with the new spring if I haven't assembled it yet, correct?
Yes, exactly....the chair is delivered disassembled. You don't need a rubber mallet or anything like that. The spring is simply plugged in and that's it.
Yes, the spring has not yet been inserted into the tube (applies to autumn 2019). However, getting a gas spring out again once it has been fitted is likely to be a difficult undertaking, not a piece of cake in my opinion.
