Question about the volume of the fan: If you are "only" doing office work or surfing - is the fan also running - is it then "audible"?

The fans are set to be whisper quiet - 28 decibels when operating in battery saving mode. When the device is connected to the mains, the fans run at 30 decibels in standard energy mode or at up to 45 decibels in high performance mode or in gaming scenarios. All in all, very quiet.
