I have the same problem, only more severe.
Q-code officially means a problem with the CPU, but it can also mean a defect in the board.
Cross swapping did nothing for me, so it's definitely not the CPU.

The effect on me is as follows:
1. computer does not start at all, always goes on, off, on, off, ... or
2. the computer starts and then goes out briefly at Q-code 8. Then the same thing happens again and the third time it starts cleanly. Then it runs without problems for several hours.
3. identical to 2. but sporadically the entire computer simply goes off.

I have run Prime95 with both RAM bars (G.Skill FlareX) for several hours without problems.
A torture test of the CPU was also without problems.
So I think it's the power supply or the board.

@Aployer
Did you do an RMA or how did you solve the problem?

Which LED lights up under the error code display? Try using different ram sticks in different slots. Otherwise, call the Asus hotline, I had extreme problems with my board, although it was on the phone for half a century, but it finally worked (no flashback etc. possible). I received very competent help.

I would disconnect all components except ram, cpu and the monitor (do not connect it) and see if anything changes.
