Purchased this product recently. The Whatsapp install allows only chats, no voicecalls nor videocalls. Can anybody help?

I could tell that it is not a smartphone - and do not expect full functionality as on smartphone device.
This is kind of special type of phone - and his uniqueness IS THE FEATURE.
I never forget how people in Japan was wondering about this, because they for a long time did not see the phone this form and supporting 4G ! ;-)
I am really happy with this phone even without many new apps [which I can use on my backup smartphone].
But this phone I use for real communications with the people.

This is intended. These are not supported. If you're lucky, voice calls may get added later, but I don't think this device will ever support video calls. There is no front camera and the processor just won't be able to handle it.
