Philips Smart Sleep Wake-up Light Premium HF3531/01 Does the light and time indication turn off completely and go dark?

The light itself turns off completely. The time can be dimmed or switched off in four levels. I have the time on the lowest level and it doesn't bother me. As soon as the light turns on, the time is set to the brightest level and dims again when you turn off the light.
