One question the radio has CarPlay now I wonder if it is possible to mirror the navigation app waze ?

Apple only allows third-party navigation apps on CarPlay from iOS 12 onwards.
In the Appstore you should see whether waze supports Carplay or not. It doesn't depend on the device but on the app...
