On the topic of cleaning agents: The original cleaning agent from Dreame is good - but unfortunately far too expensive. What alternatives are there? Important: The detergent is not added to the water manually, but is mixed automatically in the charging station. This means that the Dreame X50 (like the X40) has a special small tank into which the detergent is poured. The robot then doses the correct mix of water/detergent automatically. Unfortunately, I can't find any information from any detergent manufacturer as to whether it is suitable for this type of automatic dosing. Do you have experience with other detergents? Can you recommend alternative products that won't damage the Dreame X50? Or is there even an inexpensive way to mix your own detergent?

Good morning chris62zh,
I have the same question. I have searched for mop robot cleaner at digitec/galaxus and only get the products from Biochem recommended. Unfortunately, it doesn't say anywhere whether these are suitable for our X50 or not.
I think an enquiry to DREAME will also come to the conclusion that we should buy the original cleaner.
So there would be two of us looking for an alternative.

I'm asking myself the same question, but I realise that after 3 months of use the detergent tank is still almost full.

What is the situation with your machine?

I wonder if it just uses very little or if there's a specific setting?
