Question about ASUS PCE-AX3000
My motherboard only has PCIe 16x connectors, so I wanted to ask if the adapter would also work with a PCIe 16x connector?

The DAs card has PCIe x16 banks, right!
Everything is OK and the adapter works without problems. The adapter is only controlled with 2 lanes.
You can install it or buy it without worrying.
