Question about Chipolo One
My Chipolo constantly reports (or asks nicely...) whether I have left my things behind - every time I leave places I visit regularly, such as my home and my workplace and other places. That can't be the point - with 3 items. It's quite annoying. I know I can turn this off, but does this happen to anyone else? Is there a remedy?
Er, I'm not quite sure I understand the question:
If a Chipolo is linked to the app, then the app (as mentioned in the question) will complain as soon as it no longer sees this Chipolo in the close range, depending on the settings.
If, for example, you have one Chipolo on your key ring and another on your son (joke), then the app would report if you "forgot" your son or key when leaving the house. Which is the whole purpose of the Chipolos. How should the app know that you didn't want to take the things that are attached to the paired Chipolos with you if the alarm was activated accordingly? In this case, the alarm would be correct.
Of course, it can happen that the app triggers a false alarm if the connection with the Chipolo in question does not work, even though it would be in the vicinity. But usually there is a reason, e.g. something is interfering with or shielding the Bluetooth signal. But this rarely happens with me.
