My BT500 has connected to the BeoPlay A2 Bluetooth speaker (blue light is on constantly), but I still can't hear any sound. Is it the turntable or the speaker?

Try the volume control, which is next to the Bluetooth connection button. I mean, the outputs Phones & Bluetooth are paired.
