Hello, in Switzerland only children aged 14 and over are allowed to ride an e-scooter on public roads. Then only with a motorbike test. Under 14 years of age only on private property.

My 8 year old son is happy. Very suitable for their age. Autonomy I would say rather 10km it depends on the slopes
