Question about Braun Series 6

Why not charge lying down? It's possible.

A charging cradle is out of the question because the S6 cannot be charged contactlessly. As far as I know, there is no stand that fits exactly. So you have to make your own from wood or wire or stay with the horizontal stand in a case or similar.
