With Displayport from 1.4 or HDMI from 2.0, you can achieve the full resolution and full Hz number. But not every game supports the wide resolution completely.
The RTX2070S offers these connections. The higher the resolution and Hz, the more power is needed. The games run pretty smoothly, but maybe with around 60 to 80 fps, if you then want more, you would have to lower the quality or resolution, but in principle it is possible yes.
