I can connect my IPadAir via HDMI - UBS-C cable, then it works. It does not work wirelessly (or only with an Android device).

Yes, you can. Netflix in any case. I don't have Diesney +, but in a really stupid case, just plug a Google Chromecast receiver into the USB port and connect the iPhone to it, and it will definitely work.
