Just to be sure: is this SSD compatible with a midi-tower computer (so not a laptop)?

You need a SATA cable and a SATA power supply. There are adapters available just in case.
And to fix the SSD, there are eventually these brackets:

It works perfectly in my old tower from ...... 2007!
