Just as info for all the VR newbies: I had no idea about VR devices, then I saw this one from HTC and immediately fell in love, it looks top in the pictures. I read the description, everything fit and ordered it. 20 minutes later, someone in Discord asked if I had bought the VR device. Then he asked about the price and was amazed at how cheap it was. Then he mentioned the controllers and the base station! Me: WHAT? WHERE? WHAT IS THAT? HE: Without that, this device does not work. OOOOPS!!! Since I ordered it on Sunday, I couldn't cancel it until Monday at 8:00am, but package was already on its way. Fortunately, the return process went smoothly.
Therefore: The description does not say that a base station and controller are necessary, and the full setup costs +950.00 CHF. Then I got the Meta Quest 2, which doesn't need a base station (it's built in) and comes with controllers. I just wanted to warn you and save you the effort. Now I'm wiser and feel silly, but if you don't know that, things like that happen easily. Especially when you ask about it, no one tells you those details because everyone automatically thinks you know LOL-.
