The automatic synchronisation worked perfectly at first.
And now it's gone. I can't get it to work, nor can I trigger a manual sync from a connected device.
Nor is it possible to sync via the USB port.
Only the synchronisation via Wi-Fi for smartphones continues to work.
I had to buy an SD card reader for my iPhone to continue the backup. 
I am on holiday in Japan and this bad surprise is in the worst possible taste.
I do not recommend this product at this time.

Finally I bought a Kingston Mobilelite which I will connect to an external HD... I hope the tests will be more conclusive.
