Question about Albrecht Dr 56+

I've had the device for a long time and had to have it replaced under warranty. This is the second time I've had the same error and I wonder if others are also struggling with it: After the channel scan, the device "finds" many channels that it only displays with "hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh". As soon as such a station is selected for longer than a fraction of a second, and such a station is usually the first to be displayed after the scan, the scan starts again from the beginning. With the same result. The device can thus keep itself busy for hours. Especially the strongest channels, such as SRF, are no longer found, but instead "hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh". When this error appeared on the first device, I contacted the manufacturer's support (no reply) and digitec's support, which led to a warranty replacement. Now, a year later, the same thing again. I suspect it also has something to do with the lower temperatures, our vehicle stays outside overnight. Does anyone know this and, above all, does anyone have a solution?

Hello, I have similar problems, already the second device that loses the channels and is suddenly stuck in the eternal channel search. I will send it in again and hope for improvement.

Had the same problem with the 1st device after approx. 1 year and the 2nd device with the same error for 2 months. Among other things, the search starts automatically. Stations are displayed with "nnnnn...". The search starts again when the channel is selected. In addition, the station memory is deleted or overwritten with "nnnnn...". Replacing the cable, resetting or resetting to factory settings does nothing. I have not found any other solutions so far. It will come down to another swap.

In my case, the channel list including favourites regularly run into errors (only the aforementioned "hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" appears). This is despite everything having been installed correctly.

Hello - I am not familiar with this error. The only thing: I now have the 2nd device after many years: The new one only works properly with the supplied connection cable! It didn't work with the old USB connection! Maybe it will help you. Good luck!

Hello, I have two DR56+. I've never had an error message with hhhhhh, but I've also had problems with the channel scan not finding some channels. Then I swapped the two devices in the cars and suddenly the channels could be found again (after another scan). After switching back, all the channels were retained. I think it could possibly be due to the aerial.

I have this device in my convertible. Had no problems with it so far.
