Question about AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600X - 4.6GHz (Tray)

Exactly, "tray" versions are those that are delivered in mass packaging and not in the OVP, and are usually cheaper accordingly.
The 5600X in the original packaging is currently 182.-, which is about 20.- more expensive.

BUT:
Because there is no OVP, the CPU is sometimes packed more badly than right for shipping. I have already received tray CPUs that were sent in a padded bag, thats it. Pins were bent accordingly, which is a risk with tray CPUs. However, an exchange has always been possible so far.
