Then reset, but nothing!
Googling didn't help either...

A new update is available! - Installed, downloaded WhatsApp from the store, and it works!

But:
Backup not restored, no umlauts on the keyboard, no emoticons, no status....

Otherwise it runs tip top, new Whatsapps are reported, but are, if unnoticed, not to be found in
"Notes", so you have to check manually...

Omniload on it Whats App on it from Bananahackers and you have whats app running on it. Works perfectly. I tried it out.

I ordered the mobile phone on 27.5.2020. It was delivered with an OS version 12.

The phone has Wi-Fi.
At first Whatsapp was not displayed in the store.
And update was also not possible.
You have to switch off the phone and restart it then version 17 was displayed for download.

As far as I know, Whatsapp is available with an OS version 16 or higher in the kaiOs Appstore.

Now Whatsapp is running.

Have had the phone now since Wednesday. Whatsapp is not installed and cannot be installed from the KaiOS App Store.
