Is this remote control also compatible with a Philips 55PFL6008K/12 of the 6000 Series? The current remote control is not an IR remote control but a radio control.

The manual states: "However, the TV can also receive commands from a remote control that uses infrared (IR) to transmit commands. "
So the answer to your question is yes.
