Is this OEM or Retail licence? Can you reinstall it on new machine in case of motherboard change in the future?

OEM license cannot be re-installed except on a similar machine. Typically, a motherboard change results in a machine which is not similar, therefore preventing the re-use of the same OEM license number. Similar machine means some component change (disk, graphic card); motherboard is perceived by Windows an an install on a new machine, thus violating the OEM license scheme.

Retail version can we re-installed.
