Hello. No, it is not a lamp designed to be used around the clock. It is a special lamp for filming and photography. However, I have never had it around the clock, so I can't share any experience. But clearly it's not a lamp designed for them. I use it for a few hours on audiovisual work and it doesn't get too hot. LG. Guillermo
